Bringing Your CME Content to 3D

Problem

Studies show that all of us are visual thinkers. Seeing learning objects in a true 3D plane allows individuals to understand concepts faster, remember longer, and make quicker decisions on the material presented. This is especially important for medical education for both physicians and patients..

Solution

Seeing objects in 3D allows you to give your presentation that extra “Wow” factor that it is missing. Once you have the attention of your audience, the 3D experience transcends language barriers and creates an experiential memory which stays with your audience much longer than traditional presentation methods. Being able to turn, slice, and view the content in 3D allows the group to understand concepts easily and accurately instead of imagining how it would all fit together from a 2 dimensional source system.

Partnership

CTS has formed a partnership with the University of Alabama at Birmingham's Department of Mechanical Engineering and their Enabling Technology Lab. This partnership allows CTS to work with an interdisciplinary team of world class medical professionals, engineers, scientists, and simulation and visualization experts to create a complete solution – from content creation to onsite presentation. Data can be either imported from volumentric sources like MRI, CAT, or PET scans, or created from scratch using any of the industry leading 3d software. Our team of medical professionals ensures that content is realistic and accurate.
